Zhang Yuzhu, a native of Xuanwei City, Yunnan Province, graduated with a degree in Agriculture from Yunnan Radio and TV University (Yunnan RTVU) in 2006. She is now the legal representative and general manager of Xuanwei Huifeng Edible Fungi Development, legal representative of Xuanwei Huifeng Edible Fungi Cooperative, and a representative to the Qujing Association for Science and Technology.
Yu Hongmei, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born poor, with a paralysed father and two younger sisters. At 20, she took her father and sisters to live with her and her new husband, a poor man whose mother was suffering from mental illness, in a neighboring village.

During his thirty years of working as a policeman, he has remained true to his mission, and has had no regrets about remaining loyal to the Party, the people, and his profession.

Yang Bozun, a native of Tianjin, has been fond of both music and sports since childhood. He began to play guitar and piano at age three, and started swimming in primary school, winning several swim competitions in Tianjin while doing well at school. However, an eye disease caused him to drop out of school in grade 8, and by September 2005 he was blind.
Wen Zhihui, an associate professor, graduated from Hunan Normal University with a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature, and arrived at Hunan Radio and Television University (Hunan RTVU) in 2000 to teach, and work as course coordinator, in the Chinese Language and Literature undergraduate programme. She now serves as deputy dean of the Department of Arts and Law, and head of Chinese Language Teaching and Research Section at Hunan RTVU.
