Co-hosted by the Central Civilization Office and Chinese Civilization Network, “Best Chinese People” Awards in May have been announced recently. Lan Suwen, a student of Wencheng Branch of Zhejiang Radio & TV University (Zhejiang RTVU) who enrolled in the autumn of 2011 and majored in law, was selected as one of the “Most Dedicated Chinese People”.

The classroom building is sparklingly clean, and inside a teacher enthusiastically lectures and students listen attentively. The uniform prison suits that the students have on are the only reminder that this is a prison enclosed by high walls.

In order to set a good example for young people and help foster positive ideals, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation have presented the 17th annual “China May 4 Youth Medal” to 27 members, and conferred nominations on five members. Two students from the radio and TV universities (RTVUs), Zhi Zhiyi and Chen Jianfa, were presented with the medal and received a nomination respectively.
